Sauerkraut Salad
Sauerkraut Salad is tangy and sweet! This delicious salad has crisp veggies and sauerkraut tossed together to make a great addition to any picnic or summer cookout. Great with BBQ ribs. Delish!

Ingredients
- 1 jar 32 ounces sauerkraut
- 1 cup carrots grated
- 1 cup celery chopped
- 1 cup green red, orange and/or yellow peppers, chopped
- 1 cup onion white or red chopped,
- 1/2 cup sugar
Instructions

In large bowl, placecabbage, bell pepper, and onions. Pour sugar over vegetables, but do not mix.

Place oil, vinegar, salt,ground mustard, and celery seed in a medium sized sauce pan. Heat mixture until warm. Do not boil.

Pour vinegar and oil mixture over cabbage mixture. Mix well.

Cover; refrigerate at least 3 hours, stirring several times, until chilled and flavors are blended.

Stir before serving;serve with slotted spoon.
