Great appetizer to serve at your next outdoor get together with family and friends.
- 1/2 lb raw shrimp
- 1 T. olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 T. honey BBQ sauce, commercially prepared
- 2 lb. precooked bacon, commerically prepared
Peel and devein shrimp leaving the tail on. Rinse with cold water and pat dry. In a bowl, mix olive oil, chili powder, salt, pepper and honey BBQ sauce. coat shrimp with the mixture. Wrap each shrimp in bacon and secure with a toothpick. Grill 5 to 8 minutes, or until shrimp turn pink. Do not overcook.
